When Evie and Rob reached out to me, they had been referred by a long-time friend. I remember thinking, "I can't mess this up!". The pressure was on because the friend was a groomsman at the wedding. So I really wanted to do a great job with this client.
Much like how I worked with Jen & Eli to find the perfect venue, I had to the same here with Rob and Evie. When we sat down to discuss what was most important, Evie had her heart set on a garden wedding. She researched and checked in to a few manors in Montgomery County since they had grassy areas for outdoor ceremonies. However, she did not like the alternative options if she had to move things inside. So we look into a few more locations.
We were excited when we came across Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, Maryland. It had everything! A garden outside, ballrooms inside, a bridal suite, and in-house catering. That sealed the deal for this couple. Having so many of their wedding needs to be covered in one location made for a smooth flowing wedding day.
Their wedding colors were Coral & Grey with a wedding party of 18!
We had so much fun at this wedding! They were married in early October, so it is possible to have an outdoor ceremony with beautiful weather in the fall.
